Illustrative signal study · not measured data
PeakPulse explores how mindful health practices and the latest advances in wearable technology can meet — a personal guide for adopting a mindful approach to health and wellness.
The project sits at the intersection of contemplative practice and technology. Its aim is a companion rather than a tool: something that helps a person pay attention to themselves and engage more deliberately with their own well-being.
PeakPulse is also a space for open inquiry. It investigates new avenues in personal health management, and treats long-standing questions around healing and longevity as subjects for research and experimentation.
PeakPulse connects directly to Daniel Harris’s current research on wearable technology, its potential for self-regulation and for enhancing human potential.
About Daniel HarrisQuestions theproject is asking.
Inquiry 01
Wearable technology
What can a device worn every day offer beyond counting — and how should it communicate?
Inquiry 02
Self-regulation
How might technology help a person notice their own state, and choose how to respond?
Inquiry 03
Attention
Can feedback be designed to return attention to the body, instead of pulling it toward a screen?
Inquiry 04
Feedback & awareness
What forms of sound, vision and gentle signal best support awareness without becoming noise?
Technology and timeless practice
Our approach brings advanced technology into conversation with meditation, spiritual and energy practices — exploring how sound, vision and vibrational methods might support energy, clarity of thought and presence.
“Self regulation is the foundation of human potential.”
